Granite & Marble
Vanity Top Maintenance
Natural stone surfaces, such as granite and marble, are as unique and individual as the person that owns it. With that
in mind, here are a few simple steps to take to help maintaining
its beauty:
- After use, wipe up any water left lying on the deck. Even water
can leave behind mineral deposits if not dried up.
- Use a cleaner specifically made for stone surfaces.
- Never use abrasive cleansers or scouring pads; never use tub
and tile cleaners, toilet cleaners, kitchen glass cleaners; do not
use citrus-, vinegar- and ammonia-based products; Please note
that harsh chemicals can etch, damage and dull stone surfaces.
- Your new Stonehouse Granite vanity top has been sealed at
the factory prior to shipping. Depending on use and care
habits, it will be necessary to re-apply a stone sealant about
every 1-3 years.
- It is not recommended to stand on any countertop as it may
cause cracking.
- Wipe down your counter after using cosmetics and toiletries.
Toothpaste, shaving cream, lotions, makeup and perfumes may
cause staining.
